Jasmin Hume, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of Shiru. Jasmin is also an Investment Partner at XFactor Ventures, focusing on providing capital to companies founded by women. Prior to that, Jasmin worked as a Consultant advising companies in the alternative protein space and held various positions at JUST and New York University. Jasmin has a strong background in materials chemistry and engineering, with degrees from New York University, Chalmers University of Technology, and McGill University.
