Samson Leo

Samson Leo has a diverse work experience in the financial and legal sectors. Samson currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at FAZZ Financial Group, overseeing various financial services that include business accounts, payments infrastructure, and mutual cooperation funding. Prior to this, they co-founded Xfers and held the position of Chief Legal Officer. Samson also gained experience as an Associate at WongPartnership LLP, where they worked from December 2011 to January 2013.

Samson Leo attended the National University of Singapore from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law. In 2012, they became an Advocate & Solicitor certified by the Supreme Court of Singapore. Samson has since pursued additional certifications, including the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS in 2019, the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) - 6th Edition - Singapore (IBF Level 2) from ACAMS in 2020, and a Graduate Certificate in Legaltech covering various topics such as Blockchain, AI, Data Privacy, Payments, AML, and IP from the Singapore Management University in 2021. Samson most recently obtained the SVCA Masterclass: Excellence In Negotiating Venture Capital and Private Equity Term Sheets certification from the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association in January 2022.
