Swee Tiam Tan is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of light enabling technologies. Currently serving as the Director of the Kelip-kelip! Center of Excellence for Light Enabling Technologies and Assistant Dean at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia, Swee Tiam Tan also holds the position of Associate Professor. Previously, at Nanyang Technological University, Swee Tiam Tan led the Solid-State Lighting & Displays Research Group as a Programme Manager and Senior Scientist, focusing on areas such as InGaN/GaN inorganic LEDs, OLEDs, and nanophosphors. Additionally, Swee Tiam Tan worked as a Senior Research Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, specializing in MOCVD epitaxial of ZnO and related materials. Swee Tiam Tan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
