Jakub Niżyński

Jakub Niżyński began their work experience as an Audio Engineer with Self Employed in February 2014, where they worked until August 2016. Jakub then joined Ericsson in October 2016 as a C++ Junior Software Developer until April 2018. From April 2018 to April 2020, they took on the role of Scrum Master and C++ Software Developer at Ericsson. Jakub'smost recent role at Ericsson was as a C++ Software Developer from April 2020 to November 2021. In November 2021, Jakub joined XIATECH as a Golang Software Engineer, where they are currently working. At XIATECH, they are responsible for implementing lambdas with Single Data View solutions using Golang, designing solutions for AWS flows, setting up AWS infrastructure with Terraform, writing simple queries for DynamoDB and BigQuery, working with Docker and Docker-Compose for integration tests, and utilizing DevOps tools like Github actions and CircleCI for CI/CD. Jakub also demonstrates soft skills by working effectively in a scrum team and contributing to documentation updates.

Jakub Niżyński attended the University of Derby from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Music Technology and Production. Following this, they went on to pursue further education at Jagiellonian University from 2013 to 2016, where they completed their Licencjat (Lic.) degree in Computer Science. In July 2016, Jakub also obtained a certification in C++ from the Ericopol Summer School program.
