Nick Pocock

Nick Pocock has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nick currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Xiatech, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Engineering at Mirror Identity from January 2022 to August 2022. Nick also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Mirror Identity from November 2021 to January 2022.

Before their role at Mirror Identity, Nick was a Senior Software Engineer at Qadre from April 2020 to November 2021. There, they led a team to develop a blockchain implementation in GO and developed tools to complement the blockchain solution.

Nick's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Vidsy from February 2018 to January 2020, an Agile Web Developer at KNect365 from May 2016 to February 2018, and a Technical Web Developer at Informa from March 2015 to July 2016. Nick started their career as a Junior Web Developer at Linnet Web Development from October 2014 to February 2015.

In addition, Nick had an internship at Red Box New Media Limited from July 2014 to September 2014, where they were responsible for improving brand awareness and social interaction through innovative solutions for the company's social media accounts.

Their responsibilities included reviewing product specifications, developing and maintaining test plans and test cases, executing test activities, and preparing status reports on test execution and results. Nick also participated in writing testing process documents and contributed to ongoing process improvement efforts.

Nick Pocock attended The Cotswold School from 2003 to 2010, where they pursued A Levels in PE, ICT, and Business Studies. Later, they enrolled at Aston University from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Multimedia Computing, specializing in Computer Science.
