Anthony Caparso has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Anthony is currently the Chief Technology Officer at XII Medical since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Independent Neuromodulation Consultant at AVC Consulting Services starting in September 2008. From March 2017 to June 2019, they held the position of President & CEO at Aurea Medical, LLC. Anthony also worked as the Chief Scientist at Autonomic Technologies, Inc. from August 2013 to March 2017. Before that, they held various roles at Autonomic Technologies, including Director of EU Field Clinical Engineering & Principal Scientist from December 2011 to August 2013 and Principle Clinical Scientist from January 2009 to December 2011. Furthermore, they worked as a Senior Principle Research Scientist at Nevro Corporation from April 2007 to November 2008 and as a Senior Research Scientist at Boston Scientific Corporation from June 2005 to April 2007, as well as a Research Scientist from December 2003 to June 2005. Their roles have involved leading and executing research, clinical evaluation, product development, and program management in the field of neuromodulation.
Anthony Caparso has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Mathematics from Baldwin Wallace University, which they earned in 1998. Anthony then went on to attend Case Western Reserve University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Neural Prosthetics, completing their studies in 2000. Anthony further pursued their education at Case Western Reserve University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis on Neural Stimulation in 2003.
