Richard Christiansen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Richard started their career at Utah State University, Eastern as an Administrative Assistant, where they excelled in managing schedules and implementing safety measures. Richard then moved on to Bittercreek Technology, Inc. as a Support Engineer, working closely with international partners.

Richard joined Xima Software as a Technical Support Agent and quickly became known as "The Satisfier" due to their high customer satisfaction rate and ability to solve complex issues. Richard later transitioned into a Technical Support Manager role and implemented a tiered support process, significantly reducing customer queue time and establishing a comprehensive training program for new hires.

At Dell EMC, Richard took on the role of Manager, Ent Tech Services, where they provided leadership to a global team overseeing the NetWorker product. Richard played a key role in achieving record-setting customer satisfaction scores and developing the skills of their team members.

Returning to Xima Software, Richard became the Technical Support Manager once again, overseeing a team and introducing new processes to further enhance customer support. Richard later took on the role of Cloud Platform System Administrator, where they managed the cloud infrastructure for a new product hosted in Google's GKE and implemented proactive monitoring solutions.

Currently, Richard serves as the Software Development Manager at Xima Software, where they manage a full stack development team and oversees the release cycle of the company's SaaS solution. Richard utilizes agile methodologies and effectively communicates team priorities to ensure successful project delivery.

Richard Christiansen received a High School Diploma from Taylorsville High School in 2008. Richard went on to attend Utah State University Eastern from 2011 to 2012, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies. Richard then enrolled at Utah Valley University from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a focus on Network Administration and Security. Additionally, they hold certifications in A+ from CompTIA and Leadership from Utah Valley University. Most recently, Richard pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management and Leadership at Western Governors University from 2017 to 2019.
