Jingwen Dai

Jingwen Dai has worked in a variety of roles across a number of companies since 2006. In 2006, they worked as an Intern Engineer at IBM and as a Research Assistant at the Research Center of Intelligent Robotics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2009, they were a Project Supervisor and Research Assistant at the Computer Vision Lab, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Co-Founder & CTO at HJTech. In 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2013 to 2014, they were a UNC Key Researcher at Nanyang Technological University, and a Manager and Staff Researcher at Lenovo. Since 2015, they have been a Co-founder & CTO at Xim Industry Inc., where they lead the R&D and engineering team of 100+ scientists and engineers of algorithm, hardware, embedded software, SDK, testing and engineering teams.

Jingwen Dai received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. Prior to that, they received their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Robotics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009.
