Nisha Patel

Nisha Patel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of translational oncology and molecular biology. Nisha is currently serving as the Director of Translational Oncology at XinThera Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, Nisha worked at Loxo Oncology, Inc. where they held the position of Sr. Principal Scientist in Translational Medicine from January 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they worked as a Scientist in Translational Medicine at Loxo Oncology, Inc. from August 2018 to December 2019. Nisha also worked as a Scientist in Translational Research, Epigenetics at Celgene from September 2016 to August 2018. Nisha started their career as a Postodoctoral Research Fellow in Molecular Biology at Genentech from June 2015 to August 2016. Nisha's early work experience includes a Research Assistant role in Neurobiology at UC Irvine from September 2004 to August 2006.

Nisha Patel began their education at Gahr High School, where they completed their high school education from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they attended UC Irvine and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Nisha then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics at UC Irvine, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they furthered their education at UC San Diego, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences, completing their studies from 2008 to 2015.
