Dean Tisthammer

Dean Tisthammer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dean started their career at Merry Edwards Winery as a Temporary Worker from 2001 to 2004. Dean then worked as a Customer Service representative at Incredible Records and CDs from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Dean transitioned to a role as a Graphic Designer and Web Developer at Ajalon Printing & Design, where they designed various print and digital products while also developing a custom product management system and website. Dean stayed with the company until 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, Dean worked as a Production Engineer at WebSight Design, Inc. During this time, they focused on front-end development, including creating mobile websites, responsive designs, and custom WordPress themes.

In 2015, Dean joined Brayton Purcell LLP as a Senior Web Developer. Dean was responsible for full-stack web development, project management, and software documentation. Dean utilized various technologies such as PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, SQL, Bootstrap, and GIT version control.

Dean then moved on to World Trade Press in 2016, where they served as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Here, they developed educational web applications with a proprietary MVC JavaScript framework on the front-end and a Laravel/JSON/MySQL backend. Dean also designed user interfaces, implemented interactive data visualizations, and managed LESS stylesheets and graphics assets.

Currently, Dean is working at XiO, Inc. as a Senior Web Developer since 2017. Dean is involved in designing and developing front-end user interfaces and mobile and desktop applications. Dean also develops internal tools and works with Industrial Internet of Things solutions using web technologies.

Throughout their career, Dean has gained expertise in web development, project management, user interface design, and various web technologies including PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Bootstrap, and MVC frameworks.

Dean Tisthammer obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Santa Rosa Junior College, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, focusing on Geographic Information Technologies, from Sonoma State University, attending from 2007 to 2008.
