Karen Schulte, MS

Karen Schulte, MS has over 20 years of experience in marketing, operational excellence, and business management. Karen began their career in 2000 as a Staff Services Product Manager at Tellabs. In this role, they developed new professional services and customized software offerings for customers worldwide. Karen then moved up to Services Strategy Manager, Senior Services Product Line Manager, Senior Services Marketing Manager, and Systems Marketing Manager. In 2013, they joined Coriant, Inc. as Director of Operational Excellence. Here, they improved corporate performance and drove profitable change by managing business processes, strategic objectives, and day-to-day operational excellence. In 2018, they moved to Infinera as Director of Operational Excellence, where they collaborated closely with C-level executives and led a global, cross-functional team to identify and define clear, focused, and effective operational practices and processes for the newly integrated company. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Marketing at XIRA Connect Inc.

Karen Schulte, MS obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) from Northern Illinois University, where they majored in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology and a focus on Marketing and Sales Management. Karen then obtained their Master of Science (MS) from Roosevelt University, where they studied Marketing Communications, Brand Management, and Business Development. In June 2019, they also obtained an Intranasal Naloxone Use Certification from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
