Stefan Falkenstein has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Stefan'smost recent role was as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at May Mobility where they held positions as an Embedded Software Engineer and as an Embedded Software Co-op. In these roles, they integrated and tested IMU and GPS modules for self-driving cars, performed data analysis of sensors, and coordinated cross-team design reviews. Stefan also has experience as an Instructional Aide at the University of Michigan and as an Arabic Linguist in the United States Marine Corps. In the Marine Corps, they served as a squad leader, mentor, and tutor, demonstrating high standards, adaptability, and dedication.
Stefan Falkenstein completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2016 to 2021. Stefan then pursued further education, obtaining a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2022 to 2025.
