Brian Hammerstrom is a Battery Engineer at XL Batteries, specializing in rapid prototyping for flow battery cells and component designs while proficiently operating advanced manufacturing tools. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where research focused on hydrogen generation and its integration into the Massachusetts natural gas system. Additionally, managerial experience was gained as a Supervisor at the Campus Recreation Center, overseeing operations and staff while handling complex situations. An internship at Massachusetts Department of Mental Health involved improving inventory control processes. Brian Hammerstrom holds a Master's degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
