Prior to that, they were the IT Director at Consolidated Engineering Laboratories, where they provided vision and solutions for IT initiatives across multiple locations. Matthew also worked as an IT Contractor at Robert Half Technology and TEKsystems, and as a Desktop Specialist at UnitedHealth Group.
Matthew Byrtus attended Carnegie Mellon University in 2022, where they obtained a CIO Certificate in Information Technology. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they attended Evangel University with a focus on Political Science, though they did not obtain a degree.
