Jan Petter Hoel

Jan Petter Hoel's work experience begins in 1990, when they served as a Befal in the SJØFORSVARET / Kystartilleriet until 1991. After that, they worked as a Manager at SysData AS from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as an Advisor Content Management at NettSpesialisten AS in Oslo. Jan Petter then became the Head of Consulting Services at ODS from 2005 to 2007. Jan Petter Hoel worked as a Project Manager at Making Waves from 2007 to 2009. Jan Petter then became the Department Manager Web and Portal Development at Visiti AS (Software Innovation Development) from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Partner and Senior Project Manager at Rayon, specializing in increasing brand awareness. After that, they worked at Knowit, first as a Senior Project Manager from 2011 to 2013, then as the Head of Consulting at Knowit Reaktor from 2013 to 2016, and finally as the Director of Development at Knowit Experience from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are the CEO & Partner at XLENT Oslo, starting from 2019.

Jan Petter Hoel attended Asker Videregående Skole from 1986 to 1989, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Jan Petter then attended Befalsskolen for Kystartilleriet (BSKA) from 1989 to 1990, again without earning a degree, but with a focus on the operative line. From 1995 to 1999, Jan Petter Hoel studied at The University of Texas at San Antonio, although their degree and field of study are unspecified. Most recently, in 2018, they attended BI Norwegian Business School, completing an Executive Master of Management in Human Resources Management and Services.
