Matt Hooks

Matt Hooks is an experienced mentoring professional who served as the Practice Lead for Mentoring at XLP from 2021 to 2023, overseeing a team and supporting 100 vulnerable young people each year across nine London boroughs. Prior to this role, Matt held various positions at XLP, including Senior Mentoring Specialist and Mentoring Specialist, where they focused on matching at-risk youth with mentors and fostering partnerships for volunteer recruitment. Their early career included a role as a Junior Graphic Designer at C3 Church and work as a Keyworker with Causeway Charity, where they provided support to first-time offenders and victims of modern slavery.
