Dor Farber

Dor Farber is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as BigData Tech Lead at XM Cyber since March 2022, Dor specializes in deploying BigData data-pipelines using Spark Scala on EMR and Kubernetes. As Co-Founder and CTO at Walty since May 2018, Dor has been actively involved in backend, frontend, DevOps, and data science, transitioning to a management role after the R&D team's growth. Previously, Dor was a Java Tech Lead and mentor at MyHeritage, contributing to DNA development and guiding new employees, and also held the position of Founder and CTO at Build In Click. Dor began a career in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where a foundation in software development was established. Education includes a Practical Engineer degree in Computer Software Engineering and technical training in computer engineering and software leadership.
