Vaughn DiMarco

Vaughn DiMarco has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Vaughn is currently the Co-Founder and VP of Growth & Value Creation at XMachina, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of AI Strategy at Bain Public starting in May 2023. From 2017 to 2022, they served as a Mentor in the Data Science Career Track at Springboard, where they were recognized as a top-rated mentor. Between 2019 and 2021, they held the position of Director of Invest-AI at IVADO Labs and also worked as an Investment Director at INVEST-AI during the same period. Vaughn additionally served as a mentor at Techstars' Montreal AI program from 2018 to 2021. In 2018, they co-founded MAIC and served as a Co-Founder until 2020. Vaughn's earlier experience includes serving as a Co-Organizer at MTLDATA from 2014 to 2020, a Data Science Consultant at VONALYTICS from 2014 to 2017, and a Business Intelligence role at Radialpoint in 2013.

Vaughn DiMarco has an educational background in mechanical engineering. Vaughn completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Professional Internship from Queen's University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In 2020, they furthered their education by completing a certificate course titled "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan School of Management.

In addition to their formal education, Vaughn has obtained certifications in the field of artificial intelligence. In June 2023, they completed the "Introduction to Generative AI" certification offered by Google. In August 2019, they obtained the "NextAI Montreal 2019" certification from Next AI.
