Elizabeth (Ela) Jaworski

Elizabeth (Ela) Jaworski has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Elizabeth (Ela) is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of XN Health, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of ClickSeq Technologies, a company focused on Next-Generation Sequencing library synthesis, sequencing, and bioinformatic support. Elizabeth (Ela) held this role from January 2018.

Ela also has experience as a BioDesign Fellow at TMC Innovation, where they worked from August 2020 to July 2021. Elizabeth (Ela) previously worked as a Research Scientist I at The University of Texas Medical Branch from June 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the same institution from August 2013 to May 2019, focusing on studying RNA recombination in model and clinically relevant RNA viruses.

Additionally, Ela gained early research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida. During their time there from May 2010 to July 2013, they worked for two different laboratories, including the Urban Entomology Lab under Dr. Phillip Koehler.

Elizabeth (Ela) Jaworski has a strong education background in the field of science. Elizabeth (Ela) attended the University of Florida from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology. During the same period, they also obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Entomology from the University of Florida.

Following their undergraduate studies, Ela pursued further education at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 2013 to 2018. There, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Ela has a certification as a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration. The exact date of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
