Ben Cornelis

Ben Cornelis has eight years of professional work experience. In 2010, they began their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia. In 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Oregon State University Department of Mathematics. From 2012 to 2015, Ben worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon Department of Mathematics, where they taught 8 university courses in college algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, planned and gave 300 lectures, and increased student teaching ratings by over 50%. During this time, they also worked as a Math Tutor for Mathnasium of Brooklyn Heights/Freelance/Online. In 2017, Ben worked as a Software Development Intern at Hint.io and as a Full Stack Engineer at Satchel Health. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Eventbrite, and currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at XOi Technologies.

Ben Cornelis attended The University of British Columbia from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Ben then attended the University of Oregon from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematics. In 2015, they attended Epicodus, though no degree or field of study was obtained.
