Benjamin Smedberg

Benjamin Smedberg has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Software Development at Xometry since August 2017, where prior roles included Senior Director of Product Engineering and Director of Web Engineering. Before Xometry, Benjamin worked at Mozilla from April 2005 to August 2017, holding positions such as Architect and Senior Engineering Manager. Early in his career, Benjamin was the Music Director at St. Patrick Church in Washington D.C. and served as Assistant Webmaster at The Catholic University of America, where a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance was earned between 1996 and 2000.
