Brian Manning

Co-Founder & CEO at Xona Space Systems

Brian Manning has a diverse work experience in the space industry. Brian is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Xona Space Systems, a position they have held since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at SpaceX as a Responsible Engineer for the Thrust Structure from August 2016 to August 2018. Before joining SpaceX, they were an Engineering Manager at Power Solutions International from January 2013 to August 2016 and a Project Engineer from April 2012 to January 2013. Brian also gained experience as a Student Researcher at Stanford University Space Systems Development Lab from September 2011 to April 2012. Brian started their career in the space industry as a Summer Fellow at the Center for Space Nuclear Research in 2010.

Brian Manning completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the years 2006 to 2010. Brian then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Stanford university from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from the London Business School during the period of 2018 to 2020.
