William Meyers

William Meyers is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in mentoring, teaching, and leading security research initiatives. Currently serving as a Mentor/Teacher's Assistant at SANS Institute since August 2019, William initially supported SEC504 and SEC503 courses, later assisting with SEC599 and SEC660. In parallel, William holds the position of Principal Cyber Security Researcher at XOR Security, where the responsibilities include leading penetration testing teams for government clients. Prior roles include Principal Security Researcher at Defense Point Security, Security Operations Center Team Lead at SRC, and IT Security Engineer positions at CBTS and Oklahoma State University. William possesses a Bachelor of Technology in Information Assurance and Forensics, alongside two Associate degrees in Information Technology from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology.
