Timothy Lavachek has over 25 years of professional experience in the U.S. Navy and the private sector. From 1992 to 1996, they served as a Submarine Radioman on the USS Helena (SSN 725). Timothy then worked as a Special Operations Radio Operator for the Joint Communications Unit/Joint Special Operations Command from 1996 to 1999. During this time, they attended and graduated from Army Basic Airborne School and Navy Dive School. From 1999 to 2003, they were a Project Manager/Ocean Engineering Technician for Submarine Development Squadron Five and a RF Communications Division Supervisor on the USS Topeka (SSN 754) from 2003 to 2005. Timothy was then a Leads Production Team Supervisor for Navy Recruiting District Nashville from 2008 to 2011, followed by a Customer Service Engineer at Xoran Technologies from 2011 to 2016. Most recently, they were a Service Engineer at FLIR Systems, where they received training in the FLIR Integrated System’s manufacturing facility and performed advanced troubleshooting and depot level maintenance.
Timothy Lavachek obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Excelsior University between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's of Applied Science in Video Technology/Production from Video Technical Institute between 1988 and 1990.
