Tony McCain has worked in the customer service and field service industry since 2010. Tony began their career at Dell as a Field Services Level III in 2010. In 2011, they moved to Lexmark International, Inc. where they also held the role of Field Services Level III. In 2013, they joined Xoran Technologies as a Customer Service Engineer, where they currently work.

Tony McCain has a background in education that spans from 2009 to the present. Tony attended Monroe County Community College from 2009 to 2010, studying Pre-Law Studies. Tony then attended Washtenaw Community College from 2013 to 2016, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, Tony has obtained two certifications from Lynda.com, a Computer Science Principles Lab: JavaScript in April 2019, and a Programming Foundations: Fundamentals in March 2019.
