Michael Meli

Michael Meli serves as the Head of Non-Financial Risk Control and Managing Director at Julius Baer since January 2015, overseeing critical areas such as Information and Cyber Security and Third-Party Risk Management while reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer. Previously, Michael held the role of Group CISO at Julius Baer, managing global security efforts and leading a team of 35. Additionally, Michael contributes to the cybersecurity landscape as a non-executive board member at xorlab and Kaduu, as well as a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures, focusing on Israeli cybersecurity startups. Past experience includes leadership positions at Swisscom AG, Clariden Leu, BSI Bank, Systor, and UBS, complemented by a Master's degree in Information and Technology Management from the University of St.Gallen.
