Allan Williams

Allan Williams is a medical doctor and scientist who has dedicated their career to developing new therapeutics. Allan is currently the Director at XORTX Therapeutics, a company that is focused on developing new treatments for kidney disease. Prior to their current role, Dr. Williams served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Patient Stem Cell Resource and as the VP of Product Development at Stem Cell Therapeutics Corp. Allan has also held leadership positions at My Path Metabolix Inc and Cardiome Pharma Corp. Throughout their career, Dr. Williams has been driven by the belief that new treatments can improve the lives of patients suffering from chronic diseases.

Allan Williams received their Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative Cardiovascular Physiology- Congestive Heart Failure from the University of Calgary. Allan also attended Mathew Halton High School.
