Almir Carvalho

Almir Carvalho is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and internal controls. Since March 2020, Almir has been serving as the Risks and Internal Controls Manager at XP Inc., where the focus has been on implementing internal controls in accordance with the American SOx law and mapping risks and controls across seven pillars. Prior to this role, Almir worked at PwC Brasil for over a decade, progressing from an administrative assistant to an Audit Manager, gaining significant expertise in audit processes. Almir holds a degree in Ciências Contábeis from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
