Daniel Almeida

Daniel Almeida, CFA, currently serves as Partner and Head of Counterparty Risk Management at XP Inc., where responsibilities include managing onshore and offshore brokerage activities and overseeing collateral management for global markets. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Director at KPMG US, focusing on regulatory and compliance risk within capital markets. Daniel's career includes significant leadership roles in global risk management at Intercontinental Exchange and Aflac, as well as risk management positions at ING Investment Management and SulAmerica ING. Daniel's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP.
