Fernando Fontes is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering, architecture, and product management. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at XP Inc. since November 2022, Fernando previously held leadership roles at companies such as Space Sheep Games, Tapps Games, and Ciclic, where responsibilities included managing technical teams and overseeing product development. Notably, at Mtrix, Fernando excelled as Chief Data Officer, spearheading initiatives in analytics, big data strategy, and data governance. With a foundational career that began at Genexis and included significant contributions at Abril Mídia and Voice Technology, Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
