Marco Oliveira

Marco Oliveira is the Co-Founder and Advisor at XPAND IT. Marco has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working in a variety of roles including EAI Project Manager, E-Business Division Manager, Senior Consultant/Programmer, and DBA. In their current role, they are responsible for XPAND IT's business development and growth strategy.

Marco began their career as a Freelance Consultant for Vodafone in 1997. Marco then spent four years with Sybase Portugal, eventually becoming the E-Business Division Manager. In 2006, they joined Xpand IT as an EAI Project Manager. Marco was instrumental in the launch of du's public mobile and fixed line voice, data, and TV services in 2007. Marco remained with Xpand IT until founding XPAND IT in 2012.

Under Marco's leadership, XPAND IT has become a leading provider of enterprise software solutions. The company has a strong focus on helping its clients improve their business performance through the use of innovative technology. Marco is passionate about helping businesses succeed and is always looking for new ways to help their clients grow their businesses.

Marco Oliveira holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technologies from Instituto Superior Técnico, which they obtained after completing a two-year program. Prior to that, they obtained a University Degree in Information Technologies from the same school, which they completed in five years. Marco also holds a High School Degree in Information Technology from Colégio Planalto.
