Chen Bai

Chen Bai is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision, currently serving as a Senior Staff Computer Vision Engineer at XPENG since September 2019, with expertise in synthetic data generation and vLLM. Previous roles at XPENG included Staff Computer Vision Engineer and Senior Computer Vision Engineer, where focus areas encompassed SLAM, human detection, and various calibration methods. Prior to XPENG, Chen Bai gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2014 to July 2019, and completed an internship at XPENG Motors in the summer of 2018. Chen Bai holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Optoelectronic Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
