Haonan Li

Haonan Li is a planning machine learning engineer at XPENG Motors since January 2024, responsible for building the XPlanner deep learning model. Previously, Haonan served as a research engineer at TuSimple, focusing on camera perception, and interned at the same company, where significant advancements were made in predicting vehicle behaviors using VectorNet. Prior experience includes a role as a machine learning engineer at Shenbo Medical, where algorithms for breast tumor detection and segmentation were developed, employing state-of-the-art deep learning techniques. Haonan holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, a Bachelor's Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and has participated in research and summer school programs at the University of Washington and UC Berkeley.
