Sean Llewellyn

Sean Llewellyn has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Sean started their career in 2009 at Carroll Community College, where they worked on the Help Desk team providing assistance for Administration and Facility.

In 2011, they joined Tier One Technology Partners, LLC as an IT Specialist, specializing in virtualization and vSphere 4. Sean then moved on to work at Vocus in 2012 as a Systems Administrator, providing infrastructure support for the 24x7 HA SaaS environment.

In 2013, Sean returned to Tier One Technology Partners, LLC as a Senior Engineer, acting as a point of escalation for System Administrators and supporting clients in various roles, particularly in virtualization, storage, and MSSQL.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Cision as a Senior Devops Engineer, focusing on automation, site reliability, and solutions engineering for Product and Development teams, as well as supporting traditional infrastructure.

Since 2017, Sean has been employed at XPERTECHS, where they initially worked as a Senior Cloud Engineer, specializing in Azure and AWS, automation, modernization, and SRE. Currently, they hold the role of Engineering Manager.

Throughout their career, Sean has gained expertise in various IT domains, including virtualization, storage, infrastructure support, automation, and cloud technologies.

Sean Llewellyn has an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Systems from Carroll Community College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "AZ-301 Microsoft Azure Architect Design" certification from Microsoft in March 2020, the "Administering a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Database" certification from Microsoft in May 2014, and the "VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization" certification from VMware in March 2017.
