Mohamed Meabed

Mohamed Meabed has worked in a variety of roles since 2012, when they began as a Senior Web Developer at Desado L.L.C. In 2013, they moved to Westwing Home & Living as a Senior Application Developer. In 2015, they joined tajawal as CTO & Co-Founder, where they co-founded and drove technical operations of a leading online travel agency in the MENA region, serving millions of customers and boosting business from start-up to the fastest growing start-up in the MENA region. Mohamed also built a geographically-dispersed engineering team of 100+ specialists and established top performing development, quality assurance, security, training, big data, and support platforms. In 2018, they joined manal as CTO & Co-Founder. In 2019, they joined Tradeling.com as Chief Technology Officer and Mart أمرت as CTO & Co-Founder. In 2021, they moved to Global Villages as CTO & Co-Founder and Loblaw Digital as Senior Development Manager. Mohamed is currently an Advisor at WISK.ai and Chief Technology Officer at XpertSea.

Mohamed Meabed obtained a BCS in Computer Science and Information Systems from the Faculty of Computers and Information in the years 2003-2010. Mohamed has also obtained various certifications from Amazon Web Services, Magento, APMG-International, and Zend Technologies. These include an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (2015), an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (2014), a Magento Certified Solution Specialist (2014), a PRINCE2 Foundation (2013), a Magento® Certified Front End Developer (2013), a Zend Framework Certified Developer (2013), a Magento® Certified Developer Plus (2012), and a Zend PHP 5.3 Certified Engineer (2012).
