Stephen Aiken

Stephen Aiken is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Xplor since April 2022, where responsibilities include managing multiple software development teams and implementing enhanced controls for regulatory compliance in high-risk verticals. Prior to this role, Stephen was a Platform Architect at Xplor, contributing to merchant onboarding expansions in France and the UK and planning integrations with underwriting vendors. Stephen's previous experience includes serving as a Manager/Technical Lead at Clearent, where responsibilities involved collaborating with cross-functional teams to build roadmaps and enhance an e-signature platform, as well as working as a Software Developer focusing on C#/.NET technologies. Early career experience includes a Summer Fellowship at Humanities Digital Workshop, where Stephen developed a dashboard for the MALLET machine-learning toolkit. Stephen holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature and Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
