Jim Kulbaski is a founding partner at Xsensus Law, where expertise lies in intellectual property law, particularly in patent prosecution, opinions, counseling, and licensing since April 2018. Previously, Jim served as a partner at Oblon from 1992 to 2018 and as a lecturer at ETH Zurich from 1998 to 2004. Early in Jim's career, experience included being a patent agent at Fay Sharpe Beall Fagan Min from 1990 to 1991 and a patent examiner at the USPTO from 1988 to 1989. Jim holds a Doctor of Law degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
