Kevin Tsai

Kevin Tsai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Kevin started their career at National Taiwan University as a Research Assistant, where they worked on projects related to genetic algorithms and anti-angiogenesis small-molecule drugs for breast cancer treatment. Kevin then joined Kobin Real Estate Development Group LLC as a Product Manager, where they evaluated risk and revenue of construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on data mining and statistical analysis. Kevin later joined the University of Maryland, Baltimore as a Research Assistant, where they used Python to develop computer modeling methods and implemented GPU-based modeling platforms. Most recently, they are working at XtalPi Inc. as Director of Business Development, where their responsibilities include data and application scientist roles.

Kevin Tsai's education history begins in 2004 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Chemistry from National Taiwan University. Kevin then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the same university between 2008 and 2010. In 2012, they enrolled in National Taiwan University again and earned a Legal education certificate, demonstrating their interest and knowledge in the field of law. Kevin's academic journey continued at the University of Maryland Baltimore, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2014 to 2019.
