Michael Finn

Michael Finn is an accomplished Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience at Xtek Inc. and Mazak, where employment lasted from April 2000 until January 2024. During tenure at Mazak, responsibilities included researching new process techniques for spiral bevel gear manufacturing and collaborating with gear engineers from Dontyne Systems to enhance the understanding of existing manufacturing methods. Additionally, Michael utilized spiral bevel gear modeling software, CAD/CAM, and advanced five-axis multi-tasking machine tools to produce functional gear sets. Academically, Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science.
