Theresa L. Jones, EdD, RHIA, currently serves as the HIM Manager at Xtend Healthcare since July 2020. Prior to this role, Theresa was an Assistant Professor and Co-Director at Resurrection University from July 2012 to July 2020, and a HIM Consultant in Healthcare Services with Professional Dynamic Network from July 2006 to July 2020. Leadership roles include serving as Past-President, President, and President-Elect of ILHIMA from July 2012 to June 2015, and as Past President of CAHIMA from July 2011 to June 2012. Additional experience includes Clinical Coordinator/Faculty at Sanford-Brown College from August 2010 to July 2012 and Faculty/Manager at Jordan Evans Institute from 2000 to 2009. Theresa holds an EdS in Education from National Louis University (2017-2020), a Master's Degree in Adult Education from Chicago State University (2008-2010), and a BS in Health Information from the University of Illinois Chicago (1985-1987).
