Delvin Cyriac

Delvin Cyriac has a strong background in network engineering and administration. Delvin started their career in 2010 at Cable & Wireless Worldwide, where they served as a Network Engineer and later as an Incident Management Lead and a Network Consultant. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting customer networks, providing technical support for incidents, and serving as the focal point for major incidents. Delvin also worked at Cable & Wireless Worldwide as a Team Lead, where they handled people management and ensured compliance with customer SLAs.

In 2013, Delvin joined Xterra Solutions, Inc. as a Network Administrator, where they analyzed technical needs and wrote functional specifications for network systems. Delvin then progressed to the role of a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for developing and evaluating network design and architecture specifications, and configuring network devices and services. Currently, they hold the title of Senior Network Engineer at Xterra Solutions, Inc.

Before joining the industry, Delvin gained experience in a university setting, working as a Student Assistant at San Jose State University's Academic Technology Computer Center. In this role, they managed the computer lab, assisted customers with network and technical issues, and took ownership of situations and incidents.

Throughout their career, Delvin has demonstrated their technical expertise and ability to manage network systems effectively.

Delvin Cyriac holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering, which was obtained from San Jose State University in 2015. Prior to this, Delvin completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2004 and 2009. Delvin's high school education was completed at Labour India Public School & Junior College from 2002 to 2004, where they studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Delvin's secondary school education was obtained at International Indian School from 1994 to 2002, although the field of study for this qualification is not specified. In addition to their formal education, Delvin has obtained several certifications, including Qualys Certified Specialist - Vulnerability Management and Qualys Certified Specialist - Vulnerability Management Detection & Response from Qualys, LogicMonitor Certified Associate from LogicMonitor, Inc., Palo Alto Networks Accredited Systems Engineer (PSE): Foundation Accreditation Exam and Palo Alto Networks Accredited Systems Engineer (PSE): Platform Associate Accreditation Exam from Palo Alto Networks, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) Exam - PAN-OS 7.0 Version from Palo Alto Networks, Silver Peak SDWAN eXpert Certification and Silver Peak SDWAN Professional (SPSP) from Silver Peak, and CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco. These certifications were obtained between 2010 and 2022.
