Sean Lee is the co-founding partner and director of engineering at Xterra Inc. Sean has over thirteen years of experience in systems architecture and engineering, and has expertise in LAN/WAN networking, network security, unified communication, call recording, and datacenter technologies.
Prior to joining Xterra, Sean was a systems architect and engineer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, where they led several key projects, including the build of a new datacenter with state-of-the-art fire suppression detection and cooling systems, the migration from the old datacenter to the new one, and the design and implementation of a redundant and load-sharing internet infrastructure across two campus sites. Sean was also instrumental in the upgrade of the bank's Cisco VoIP infrastructure, which included installing a full unified communication suite with corporate instant messaging, presence, and ASA Phone proxy capabilities. As a key member of the bank's business continuity and disaster recovery team, Sean participated in the design, planning, testing, and validation of BCP procedures with a focus on network and network security. Sean also provided Tier 3 support for the bank's network, network security, and voice infrastructure.
Sean has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
