Vivek Varadarajan

Vivek Varadarajan has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Business Development Executive at AIESEC in Chennai, where they were responsible for outlining strategies and methods to gain sponsors for social charity, coordinating with other teams to allocate finance, and leading and coordinating a team to organize events which contributed towards social awareness in remote locations. In 2014, they worked as a Product Business Analyst at Zoho Corporation, where they were responsible for analyzing functional and technical requirements for implementing Mobile device management solutions, analyzing the product architecture and structure to ensure stability and performance of the product, and providing Strategic Consulting to improve the mobile device management product. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they were responsible for creating websites using Drupal Content Management System, implementing Single-Sign-On facility using Shibboleth for user login, and managing the Active Directory for College of Business Administration to implement AD policies and Group Policies. Vivek also worked as a Fall Intern at Cook County Treasurer's Office, where they were responsible for analyzing the current work flow of Senior Deferral Program, identifying critical process flows to be automated, and reducing queuing time and increasing efficiency of the program by 12%. Finally, they worked at XTIVIA, Inc. as a Technical Product Manager, where they were responsible for data migration and data integration requirements and data governance capture for catalogs, glossaries, and quality rules, application design, and deployment across Hospitality, Insurance, Retail, and Banking industries, as well as experience in Data Migration, Data Warehouse implementation, and Data Integration across multiple third-party applications.

Vivek Varadarajan obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information and Communication Technology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy between 2010 and 2014. Vivek then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Illinois Chicago-College of Business Administration between 2015 and 2016.
