Head Of Development at XTR

Justin Lacob has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry spanning over 15 years. Justin is currently the Head of Development at XTR, a position they have held since February 2019. Previously, they worked at Paramount Network as the Vice President, Original Series and Development from April 2017 to January 2019. During their time there, they played a strategic role in the rebranding of Spike into the Paramount Network and oversaw the production of several successful documentary series, including "Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story" and "It Was Him."

From June 2011 to January 2018, Lacob worked at Spike TV as the Vice President, Original Series. Justin was instrumental in building the network's startup scripted department and oversaw the successful launch of the epic event series "Tut," which garnered high viewership for the network.

Prior to that, Lacob served as the Senior Director of Development at Intuitive Entertainment from August 2009 to June 2011. Justin managed the development department and significantly increased the company's output, overseeing the production of 40 hours of television across 13 networks.

Lacob's career started at FremantleMedia North America, where they worked as the Director of Development from August 2007 to May 2009. Justin developed and sold alternative and scripted programming, generating significant revenue for the company. Justin managed a slate of unscripted and scripted projects and was involved in the production of various television shows.

Before their time at FremantleMedia, Lacob worked on the popular reality TV show "America's Next Top Model" in various roles from August 2004 to August 2007. Justin served as a Producer for multiple cycles of the show and was responsible for overseeing producing teams and creative execution in cycle 9. Justin also worked as an Associate Producer for cycles 4 and 5.

Lacob has also held roles at Style Their Famous (Style Network), SUPERGROUP (VH1), America's Next Top Model (UPN), and Next (MTV), where they gained experience in producing, developing, and managing various television shows.

From 1998 to 2002, Justin Lacob attended Wesleyan University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in American Studies.
