Ryan Finn, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ryan is currently working at Xtract One Technologies as a Senior Systems Developer, where they are involved in hardware and software development, as well as research. One of their notable roles at Xtract One Technologies was as an AI Specialist III, where they designed and supported a SMART Multi-Sensor Gateway, involving software development and hardware interfacing.

Prior to their current position, Ryan worked at Eigen Innovations Inc. as a Data Scientist, where they integrated nonlinear reduction techniques in image processing applications for the manufacturing sector. Ryan Finn, PhD holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Artificial Intelligence - Manifold Learning from the University of New Brunswick. Ryan completed their doctoral studies from 2014 to 2019. Prior to their Ph.D., they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, graduating between 2007 and 2010. Before their bachelor's degree, Ryan Finn pursued a Technology Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from NBCC - Saint John, from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ryan Finn has achieved certification as a Certified Thermographer - Level I from the Infrared Training Center in December 2020.
