Ravi Chandran

Ravi Chandran has extensive experience in the engineering and technology industry. Ravi began their career in 1982 at Bio-Imaging Research, Inc. where they held the positions of Director/VP of Engineering and Project Manager. In 2000, they Co-Founded Binary Machines Inc., a company specializing in engineering design services for medical and industrial imaging markets. In 2005, they Co-Founded XtremeData, Inc. where they served as Co-Founder/CEO/CTO. Ravi had a vision to build a cloud-scale SQL engine, purpose-designed for analytics. In 2017, they joined Megh Computing, Inc. as an Advisor and member of the Board of Directors.

Ravi Chandran has a varied educational history. Ravi completed their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington. Ravi also completed an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a BE in Electrical Engineering from University of Madras (Guindy), Chennai. Theireducational history is rounded out by their attendance at St. Joseph's High School, Allahabad.
