Stefan van Engen

Vice President Content Programming And Partnerships at Xumo

Stefan Van Engen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Stefan began their career as an Assistant to Scott Sassa at NBC and also served as an Assistant Designer (Development) at Saturday Night Live. Stefan later joined Burly Bear as a Segment Producer and worked there until 2002.

In 2003, Van Engen joined CBS College Sports Network as a Senior Broadcast Producer, where they stayed until 2008. Stefan then joined Voom HD Networks as a Supervising Producer for a year before moving to MSG, NWE, Independent, CBS Sports, and Digital Agency, where they worked as a Development and Production Executive until 2011.

After that, Van Engen joined the Oprah Winfrey Network as the Co-Executive Producer of The Gayle King Show. Stefan worked there for a year before joining Bedrocket Media Ventures in 2011 as a Senior Vice President of Programming and Production.

In 2016, Van Engen transitioned to XUMO and took on the role of SVP, Content Programming & Acquisitions. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Content Programming and Partnerships.

Stefan Van Engen completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Arts, and Sciences from Calvin University from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they earned a certificate in Film Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1995.
