Puneet Arora

Puneet Arora has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Puneet is currently the CTO at XY Retail, a position they have held since December 2018. Prior to this, they served as an Investor and Advisor at Omnitrol Networks, Inc. starting from May 2012. Puneet also worked as an Investor and Advisor at GigSky from 2010.

In 2013, Puneet founded TOOVIA and served as its CEO until August 2018. Puneet was responsible for the successful establishment of the company. Before TOOVIA, Puneet held the position of VP CTO and TIBCO Fellow at TIBCO, where they played a crucial role in incubating and developing highly successful products such as TIBCO BusinessEvents, BusinessWorks, BPM, EMS, and more. Puneet also has a patent for Inferential State Machines.

Earlier in their career, Puneet served as an Investor and Advisor at Wombat Financial Software from 2006 to 2008, and as an Advisor at BoredAt, Inc. in 2007 and 2008. Puneet began their career at Softplus as a Senior Software Architect from December 1996 to April 1999.

Before Softplus, Puneet worked at Iflex Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they led a team in developing the market-leading retail banking product, Finware. Puneet also worked at CITICORP FINANCE (INDIA) LIMITED as a Software Engineer during the same period as Iflex Solutions.
