Lu Xing

Lu Xing is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in AI operations and decision intelligence solutions, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Xylem since January 2022. Previously, Lu held various roles at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2016 to January 2022, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant, specializing in intelligent water distribution systems and analyzing time-series data. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Intelligent Infrastructure, a Master’s in Statistics, and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Tianjin University. Additional research experience includes internships at the University of Michigan and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, focusing on marine renewable energy and engineering activities.
