Hormoz Keisami

Hormoz Keisami has worked in the accounting field for over 10 years. In 2010, they began as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) for Holcim, where they were the sole accounting employee. In this role, they maintained the general ledger, posted journal entries, reconciled balance sheets, and closed the month. Hormoz also prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and financial statements for internal and external users. In 2015, they joined Robert Half as a Senior Accountant, where they prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and financial statements for internal and external users. That same year, they began working at California Management Services Inc. as an Accounting Manager. In this role, they prepared and reviewed month end financials and maintained complex accounting reports, journal entries, and monitoring charts of accounts. Hormoz also performed cost accounting, monthly reconciliations, and inventory close, as well as prepared variance analysis and developed financial reports. In 2020, they joined OffGifter as the Director of Accounting. In this role, they helped implement processes and procedures, set KPIs, and prepared monthly performance reports and other ad-hoc reports for management. Hormoz also designed core accounting and automated all JEs, controlling the full cycle of accounting activities. In 2022, they began working at both XYZies and FUSION OF IDEAS. At XYZies, they are the Director of Accounting, and at FUSION OF IDEAS, they are an Accounting Consultant. In this role, they are responsible for preparing journal entries into QuickBooks, performing invoicing and payment settlement, utilizing Microsoft Excel to prepare reports, posting transactions to the General Ledger, issuing financial statements, and assisting with filing of all tax returns.

Hormoz Keisami has an extensive education history. Hormoz obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Tehran in 2005. Hormoz then obtained a Tax Preparer certification from the Internal Revenue Service and a Tax Certification from the California Tax Education Council in November 2016. In 2020, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Hormoz is currently a CPA Candidate at the California Board of Accountancy, which they obtained in August 2021.
